Mellor starts for Latics
David Mellor was handed his first start of the season for Latics in this afternoon's npower League One match at Coventry City.It looked as though Mellor (pictured) would start at left back with Jonathan Grounds pushed forward into midfield.
That would release Robbie Simpson to play in the centre of midfield.
Mellor for Carl Winchester was the one change from the side which kicked off against Brentford last Saturday.
