Latics' manager Lee Johnson was unworried by the sight of Connor Brown limping away from Accrington Stanley after last night's friendly.Right-back Brown (pictured), who had been a pre-match doubt with a bruised toe, played the opening half.
"Connor had a bad foot and it is throbbing a bit, but he will be alright," explained Johnson.
Latics' manager was pleased to report a clean bill of health after last night's 1-1 draw in what was an often feisty clash.
