Stand shut for turnstile tests
The Chadderton Road Stand will be CLOSED to spectators for Saturday’s pre-season friendly against Macclesfield Town to enable the further testing of the replacement turnstiles under match-control conditions.
Safety Officer John Cooke said: "It is important that any new facilities and systems are tested thoroughly before being opened to the public.
"The Macclesfield game provides an opportunity to ensure that the systems are fully operational and will allow safe and controlled access and egress.’
For the game against Macclesfield, home supporters have been allocated the large section of The Verlin Stand as well as the Main Stand while away fans will be accommodated in the small section of The Verlin Stand.
Prices are £10 adults and £5 concessions (under 16’s and over 65’s) and it is pay at the turnstiles for all fans.
The Chadderton Road Stand will be fully open to supporters for the pre-season friendly against Huddersfield Town on Saturday, July 27th.
