Sutherland plays against Scottish League Cup winnners
Chris Sutherland made his debut for Stockport County on trial in yesterday's friendly against Scottish League Cup winners St Mirren.The 18-year-old winger (pictured), who made the starting line up, helped non-league County give a creditable display as they only lost 1-0.
Latics' manager Lee Johnson sanctioned the move to allow Sutherland to get much needed match practice.
