Disabled supporters' facilities

10 July 2013

Changes for 2013/14 season

As a result of the continuing development work at Boundary Park, several changes have been made to the facilities available for disabled fans for the 2013/14 season.

Wheelchair supporters will be accommodated at the front of the Chaddy End or rear of the Verlin Stand.

A temporary toilet facility will be installed between the Chaddy End and the development work site to ensure that supporters are not inconvenienced.

Ambulant disabled supporters should contact the club on 0161 785 5179 to ensure that they can be seated in a location appropriate to their requirements.

Latics' Disability Liaison Officer Ron Cassidy said: "I have seen the proposed plans for disabled supporters in the new North Stand and they will ensure that Latics' disabled fans will enjoy some of the best views at Boundary Park together with having access to some long overdue and much needed facilities with appropriate access.

"Hopefully any short term inconvenience will be more than compensated by the new facilities that will be on offer."

If any supporter requires any further information, please contact Judith Lane on 0161 785 5179.
