Lunch date at Boundary Park
Latics' annual sponsors' lunch, held yesterday in the O2 Business Suite at Boundary Park, saw over 70 attendees over the course of the afternoon with the club’s commercial team reporting brisk business.
Matchday hospitality caterers Sizzlers provided a superb buffet and Fosters the beer.
During the afternoon, players James Wesolowski, Jose Baxter, Korey Smith and Sidney Schmeltz were interviewed about the forthcoming season before Manager Lee Johnson outlined his plans and hopes.
The day started with a welcome from Chairman Simon Corney with guests hearing an update on the new North Stand.
Latics' Commercial Manager Jenny Warburton, said: "We were delighted with the turnout. The commercial team worked hard in putting this event together and I’d like to thank everybody for taking the time to come down and see what we have to offer."
"We've done some great business today and there is a real buzz around the place ahead of the new season."
Sales and Marketing Executive David Broadbent, added: "We’re lucky enough to have some fantastic sponsors and partners and they are all vital to the club and our future ambitions.
