New sponsor on board

Oldham Athletic Community Trust, in partnership with Laticzone and JD Williams, are to relaunch 'The Matchday Club' for the 2013/14 season.


The Trust and Laticzone Study Centre are once again running the OAFC Matchday Club sponsored by JD Williams prior to every Saturday home fixture.

* Designing new signs/posters for the family area.

* Creating tannoy announcements to be played on match days.

The club will cost £5 per match day, with both football sessions and different themed activities held in the Laticzone Study Centre. They include:


* Animation filming/music and advert making.


* Football coaching pre-match by fully qualified and CRB Trust coaches.

* Healthy eating workshops where children can prepare their own healthy meal.


Other activities include meeting Chaddy The Owl and Latics' players pre-match.


There is one significant change to this year’s schedule. The Matchday Club will be running from 12.30pm-5.30pm, meaning five hours of activities for only £5.


       Youngsters should  After the activities the children will then be escorted to the family section of Boundary Park where they will enjoy the match with their free complimentary junior match ticket, accompanied by the Matchday Club staff. Parents can then pick their children up from Laticzone at 5.30pm to avoid the busy match-day traffic.
