Latics under-18's have injury problems as they prepare for tomorrow's friendly at Glossop North End, kick off 2pm.Paul Tyson, Callum Etches and Will Kinder are all ruled out while Jordache Walters and Danny Byrnes are doubts.
Latics kicked off their pre-season programme with a 2-1 victory against Accrington Stanley youth last Saturday.
Academy Manager Tony Philliskirk believes tomorrow will be far tougher saying: "The bottom line tomorrow is that we will be playing men so it will be a tough ask of the lads.
"It will be a test, both physically and mentally, but a great learning experience for them."
