Pre-season training begins
It was back to work today for Latics' players as they reported for pre-season training.The first two days are being spent at Bolton University where the fitness levels of the players will be monitored.
The players were each given a programme to undertake during the two-month break to maintain a certain level of fitness.
Once today and tomorrow are over, there will be a return to the training ground.
Today was the first opportunity for the summer signings to meet their team mates for the first time.
Reporting were James Dayton, Korey Smith, Sidney Schmeltz and Jonson Clarke-Harris.
It was also a big day for youngsters Luke Simpson, Joe Cooper, Danny Gosset and Chris Sutherland (pictured) as they began their careers as fully-fledged professionals.
