Latics' loanee on the move
Striker Chris Iwelumo, who spent the latter part of the 2012/13 season on loan with Latics, is on the move.
npower League Two side Scunthorpe United have signed free-agent Iwelumo on a one-year deal.
The 34-year-old was on the books of Watford last season and spent time out on loan at Notts County and Latics for whom he made six starts and three substitute appearances during his three-month spell at Boundary Park.
Iwelumo will bring a vast amount of experience to Glanford Park having represented 15 clubs throughout his career since signing his first professional contract for St Mirren in 1995.
He links up with Brian Laws for the second time in his career after previously being signed by the current Scunthorpe boss during his managerial stint at Championship side Burnley.
