Business booming at Boundary Park
Latics have attracted new high-profile partners and sponsors to Boundary Park as they are proving the perfect fit for businesses, both local and national.
As well as bringing new companies on board, they have also renewed a number of existing deals.
And with preparatory work underway on the new North Stand, there will soon be other exciting commercial opportunities available.
While the players are relaxing and enjoying their holidays, it's all systems go behind the scenes at Boundary Park as preparations continue for the new campaign.
Over the last few weeks the club has signed up a number of new partners and renewed deals with existing partners.
Nowhere is this more evident than in the club's commercial department where this is their busiest time of the season, planning for the season ahead and bringing on board the club's sponsors and partners.
"It's a good time to be involved with the club and the town with all the improvements planned for the next couple of years. Work is taking place on the Chaddy End roof and we should be in a position to announce the new sponsor soon.
"We've got some fantastic new, innovative, partnerships with the likes of O2 Business and Carter Moore Solicitors joining our valued existing partners.
"It's great to see local and national businesses both renewing deals and joining us for what should be a very exciting season.
Commercial Manager, Jenny Warburton, said: "So far everything has been really positive. There’s a buzz around the place with work underway for the new stand and the optimism surrounding Lee Johnson's appointment.
"We have lost the Corner Flag Suite for the new season because of building work which means we have less matchday hospitality to offer, but we still have great experiences available."
"Their efforts are now bearing fruit and we look forward to welcoming all our commercial partners to Boundary Park for the 2013/14 season."
He said: "They have worked extremely hard to ensure existing partners remain with us and also to bring new sponsors on board.
Chief Executive Neil Joy praised the efforts of Latics' commercial team.
"We're going to be doing a match by match ticket giveaway in association with Heineken and Clayton Park Bakery. We are working closely with Rumour Entertainments around matchday events and really looking forward to the new season, both on and off the pitch.”
"We're working on a supporter initiative with Carter Moore Solicitors and the Oldham College goal-of-the-month partnership should prove very popular.
"The Sponsors Suite is undergoing a refit and rebranding to become the O2 Business Suite that will further improve our matchday hospitality.
"Over the next few days and weeks we have more announcements to make that will benefit both the club and our supporters.
Sales and Marketing Executive, David Broadbent, added: "We've announced quite a few partnerships already, and we're working hard on securing more, both old and new.
