Former Latics' strikers Reuben Reid and Calvin Zola are on the move.Reid has rejoined Plymouth Argyle on a season-long loan from Championship club Yeovil Town.
It is the third spell Reid has had at Home Park where he kicked off his career and also had a loan spell last season from Yeovil.
Zola, meanwhile, has moved from Burton Albion to Scottish Premier League club Aberdeen.
The Congo-born player joined Latics from Newcastle United and has since played for Tranmere, Crewe and Burton.
Former Latics' manager Dave Penney is also back in football as Phil Brown's No 2 at League Two Southend United.
