Can Latics blunt Blades?

2 March 2013

Steel-city side in town

Latics are expecting their largest npower League One attendance of the season for this afternoon's visit of promotion-chasing Sheffield United.

The Blades will have a following of almost 3,000.

Latics' fans are reminded there is no admission to the Rochdale Road Stand and season-ticket holders from that end must relocate.

Season-ticket holders can gain admission to the Chaddy End at the turnstiles but to gain entry to the Main Stand they must go to the ticket office before kick off.

Latics' fans can gain entry to the Chaddy End and Main Stand Lower by payment at the turnstiles. For Main Stand Upper, a ticket must be purchased from the ticket office.

The clash involves two of League One's form teams.

Latics have won their last three league matches while the Blades have collected 13 points from a possible 15 and arrive at Boundary Park having kept four successive clean sheets.

Latics drew 1-1 in October at Bramall Lane where Matt Smith scored a 95th minute equaliser. They also won 3-2 away in March.

The Blades have triumphed 2-0 at Boundary Park on each of their last two visits.
