Tranmere at the double

Diehard fans can watch Latics play Tranmere Rovers twice today.

The npower League One match at Prenton Park (3pm) is preceded by a fixture in the Football League Youth Alliance's North West Conference.

That match takes place at Tranmere's Raby Vale training complex at Thornton Hough on the Wirral (CH63 4JE), kick off 11am.

Latics have won on four of their last five visits to Tranmere, the sole defeat was last season when Jose Baxter scored the only goal of the game.

They have won three of their last four league games whereas Tranmere have managed only one victory in their last seven matches, though that was a 5-1 success at Colchester.

Ticket prices for tomorrow's first-team match are as follows with Latics' supporters accommodated in the Cowshed Stand.

It's pay on the day for Latics' fans. Adults are £19 and those aged 16 years and under are £6 and admission is at the turnstiles for both categories. 

Over-60's and those aged 17/22 years are £11 and tickets must be bought on the day at the ticket office. Those aged 17/22 years must have ID with date of birth. 

Ambulant disabled are £6 with a free carer for middle/high rate DLA with proof. Again it is pay at the ticket office. 

Wheelchair users are £6 with a free carer. These must be booked by telephoning 0871 2212001.
