First-ever visit to Greenhous Meadow

Latics will be on unfamiliar ground today when they pay their first-ever visit to Greenhous Meadow.

They are travelling to Shrewsbury Town for a match involving two teams battling to stay clear of the relegation places in npower League One.

Latics are one place and one point clear of the bottom four while the Shrews are two places higher and have amassed an extra five points.

It is Latics' first visit to Shrewsbury since 1988 when they were involved in a goalless draw at Gay Meadow.

As it is Latics' first-ever visit, there will be a larger-than-usual away following as fans want to add the ground to their list.

Fans can pay on the day at Greenhous Meadow by going to the away ticket office.

Tickets prices on Saturday are: Adults £21, over-65's £16, students with ID £16, children aged 12/16 £13, 11 years and under £7.

Ambulant disabled and wheelchair users are £16 with carers free.

Family tickets are available. One adult and one child aged 11 and under £22, one adult and one child aged 12/16 years £24.

Each additional child aged 12/16 £7, but aged 11 and under is free.

* Fans are advised to check on the official website before travelling due to the adverse weather which has been sweeping the country in the last 36 hours.
