Latics team up with RRG Peugeot

Latics this afternoon teamed up with RRG Peugeot to launch their Comic Relief Cycle Challenge, which is the Red Nose Day event at the Oldham dealership.

 

Whoever has covered the most distance within the 10-minute timescale by close of play on March 24th, wins the use of a Peugeot RCZ for a one-week period, inclusive of insurance and a tank of fuel.

Striker Daniel Taylor and 'keeper Alex Cisak were on hand to launch the week-long promotional event by racing each other over a 10-minute period in their showroom exercise bike challenge.

 

Taylor went first clocking up an impressive 8.1 kilometres. Cisak then took to the bike and pipped the young striker with a distance of 8.2k to the applause of the crowd gathered in the showroom.

Oldham Athletic's Sales and Marketing Executive David Broadbent added: "It's great to be able to support these events. The players enjoyed it and there was a definite competitive edge between the two of them!
