Fans wanted to remove frost covers
Latics are appealing for help from fans on Monday to remove frost covers from the Boundary Park pitch.They are asked to turn up at 8am when groundstaff will start making preparations for that afternoon's home game against Colchester United in npower League One.
The pitch has been covered for the last week as overnight temperatures have plummeted well below freezing.
Fans will be given a free match ticket as a thank you from the club.
