Latics play high flyers
Mid-table Latics under-18's have a tough challenge tomorrow as they are away to Preston North End who are second in the Football League Youth Alliance's North West Conference.Due to the strength of the opposition, coach Mick Priest goes for experience with a starting line up wholly comprising scholars.
Only one schoolboy will be involved in the squad.
Latics are without three second-year scholars as Carlton McIntosh (ankle), Danny Gosset (knee ) and Chris Sutherland (shin) are all ruled out through injury.
The match takes place at Springfields Training Ground (PR2 1XR) kick off 10.30am.
