Reserves play Manchester United
Latics' reserves will this afternoon parade five trialists in their side to play Manchester United in the semi-final of the Lancashire Senior Cup in a behind-closed doors match at The Cliff.Manager Lee Johnson was looking at potential signings as he reshapes his side for the 2013/14 season.
The trialists are former Latics' left back Paul Black (Tranmere), centre-back Joey Jones (Leicester), midfielder Max Pemberton (Sheffield United), winger Micah Evans (Blackburn Rovers) and winger Matt Wichelow (Watford).
Team: Coleman, Cooper, Jones, Truelove, Black, Pemberton, Gosset, Winchester, Evans, Millar, Wichelow. Subs: McIntosh, Kinder, Pritchard.
