Free admission for season-ticket holders
May, 3pm kick off.th in association with Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, are to hold a fundraising match at Boundary Park on Saturday 4,Once Upon A Smile and Oldham Athletic AFC
The team, who play regularly in order to raise money for families who have lost a child or children who have lost a parent to a long term or terminal illness by providing financial assistance or respite breaks, will face an Oldham team that will be managed by Joe Royle and include Latics’ new manager Lee Johnson, chairman Simon Corney and former club legends such as Mike Milligan & Andy Ritchie.
The Once upon a Smile Celebrity XI includes a host of famous actors from soaps such as Eastenders, Shameless & Waterloo Road, including captain and Emmerdale star Danny Miller, along with a number of ex-professionals and other celebrities.
"It's going to be a great day and we're extremely grateful to Oldham Athletic for allowing us to stage the game and the help they have provided.''
"This year will see the game staged bigger and better and we are delighted that it will also benefit Dr Kershaw's Hospice. Last year was a narrow 4-3 win for the Latics, this year we're in it to win it.

Latics Commercial Manager Jenny Warburton was overwhelmed by the success of last year’s game adding: “The charity event helped to raise a lot of money for the victims of the Shaw disaster. It was fantastic to see the town come together.
Debbie Edwards, Corporate and Community Fundraiser at Dr Kershaw’s, said: “Dr Kershaw’s Hospice is very excited to be involved in this amazing opportunity to, not only offer our supporters a fabulous day out, but to raise much needed funds to support patients and families of people suffering from life limiting illness in Oldham.

Oldham Athletic season-ticket holders can attend this game free of charge by showing their season ticket booklet on the turnstiles where there will be collection buckets if they wish to make a donation.
