Profitable day for Latics
It has been a profitable day for Latics with queues forming at both the ticket office and club shop.Latics experienced a last minute surge in season-ticket sales on discount-deadline day.
And by close of play, the total sales were over 2,400 to the delight of club staff.
They were also elated by demand for the new home kit (pictured) which was launched today.
Sales of the royal blue shirt in the club shop topped 200.
And one diehard fan David Taylor made a special trip from Skipton, Yorkshire, to buy his shirt on the first day of sale.
Latics remind season-ticket holders that they are able to purchase the new home shirt for £20 which is half price.
The club shop is open from 9am to noon tomorrow (Saturday).
