Latics' hat-trick heroes

Lee McNamara and Keyon Chicango both scored hat tricks for Latics' under-14's who won 7-1 at Tranmere Rovers.

Jack Meylan also found the net as Latics produced their best performance of the season.

THERE was also a win at Tranmere for the under-16's who triumphed 3-2 through goals from Brad Kay, Lee Knight and Alex Read.

Latics were 2-1 down, equalised on the stroke of half time and Read came up with a second-period winner.

THE under-11's were involved in an exciting 3-3 draw against Tranmere.

Keaton Williamson, Lewis Walsh and Niall Dolan, with a last-minute equaliser,  were Latics' goalscorers.

THE under-12's were left kicking themselves after being held to a 2-2 draw by Tranmere having been two goals up with 10 minutes left.

Goals from Alex Panter and Ben Hughes put Latics clear only for them to concede twice at the death.

THE game may have been goalless, but the under-15's game against Tranmere was entertaining.

It was just that Latics could not find the net as James Beck had a good chance and Thabani Jambaya had a shot cleared off the line.

THERE was another goal feast in the game involving the under-10's who were beaten 9-7 by Tranmere.

Patrick Taylor and Kane Badby both scored hat tricks for Latics whose other goal came from Finn Spence.
