Robson stars for under-16's

Robson Buckley scored a hat trick, including two fabulous free kicks, as Latics under-16's won 5-3 at Preston North End.

John-Marc Ekegue and a trialist also found the net.

Latics were 4-0 ahead at half time before losing their focus in the second period.

THERE was a 5-3 win for under-15's against Preston.

Thabani Jambaya scored twice, Nyal Platt also found the net along with two trialists.

Latics were 5-0 ahead at half-time, but were punished for individual mistakes in the second half.

THE under-12's also scored five beating Preston 5-2 after an excellent performance.

James Fletcher scored twice while also finding the net were Adam Barthram, Alex Panter and Will Roberts.

THE under-11's came from behind to beat Preston 4-1 through two goals from a trialist and one apiece from Louie Bull and Lewis Walsh.

THE under-14's drew 3-3.

Goals from Lee McNamara and Mwiya Malumo gave Latics a 2-0 lead.

Preston hit back to lead 3-2, but Latics snatched a draw in the dying minutes through a goal from Lewis Derbyshire, his first of the season.

THE under-13's lost 6-4 to Preston having been 4-0 down at half time.

Jacob Hibbert scored twice while Tyrese Sinclair and John Shellion also found the target.

KANE Badby scored for the under-10's who lost 2-1 to Preston.

Latics had plenty of chances, but were unfortunate in front of goal.
