Wade signs one month youth loan
Latics have signed teenage midfield man Wade Joyce from Barnsley on a youth loan.The 19-year-old has agreed a one-month stay at Boundary Park. He has been given the squad number 23.
Joyce, whose contract at Oakwell expires at Christmas, has been training with Latics for a couple of weeks.
The grandson of former Latics' favourite Walter Joyce and son of former Bolton, Preston, Burnley and Hull City player Warren, he was a schoolboy at both Tranmere Rovers and Manchester United.
Joyce spent two years at Bury as a scholar and was handed a 12-month professional contract by Sunderland in 2012/13.
He joined Barnsley in the summer on a half-season deal which expires next month.
