Ellis provides new defensive options
Latics have signed Ellis Plummer on a one-month youth loan from Manchester City.The 19-year-old defender, an England youth international, completed his move to Boundary Park on transfer deadline day.
Plummer, who can play at left back or centre half, will provide additional cover and options in defence for manager Lee Johnson.
Plummer, who was born in Audenshaw, is a member of City's Elite Development Squad.
He joined City from Stockport County in 2006 and has since represented England under-17's.
