Same again for Latics

Lee Johnson named a first unchanged side of the season for today's FA Cup with Budweiser, first-round match against Wolves at Boundary Park.

Latics' manager went with the same 11 players who performed so well to draw 1-1 at Bristol City last Saturday.

There were changes on the bench, though, as Connor Brown returned after a two-and-a-half-month lay-off.

And there was a first senior appearance on the bench for scholar Jordan Bove (pictured), a prolific goalscorer for the youth team.

Wolves made three changes from the side which drew 2-2 in midweek at Carlisle with top scorer Leigh Griffiths and Kevin Doyle dropping down to the bench.

Latics (4-4-2): Oxley; Kusunga, Tarkowski, Grounds, Mellor; Philliskirk, Smith, Wesolowski, Dayton; Clarke-Harris, Rooney. Subs: Brown, Schmeltz, Montano, Millar, Winchester, Rachubka, Bove.

Wolves (4-4-1-1): Ikeme; Ricketts, Stearman, Batth, Golbourne; Henry, Davis, Price, Sako; Edwards; Cassidy. Subs: Elokobi, Griffiths, Forde, Sigurdarson, Ebanks-Landell, Doyle, McCarey.
