Blows for Montano, Joksts, Millar

Latics have been dealt a triple injury blow.

Cristian Montano (pictured) and Edijs Joksts both face lengthy lay offs while Kirk Millar will have a shorter spell on the sidelines.

A scan has revealed that winger Montano has grade two tear of his lateral knee ligament.

Montano will be out of action for a minimum of eight weeks.

Centre-back Joksts, meanwhile, will be missing for at least 10 weeks after a scan has revealed a stress fracture to his back.

Joksts was injured playing for Latvia under-21's.

Millar also returned injured from international duty with Northern Ireland under-21's.

Scans have revealed a grade one strain to his calf and a grade one tear of his medial ankle ligaments. He is expected to be out for between two and three weeks.
