Pritchard in squad for Wolves
Second-year scholar John Pritchard has been called into Latics' squad for tomorrow's FA Cup with Budweiser, first-round replay at Wolves.The 18-year-old Pritchard (pictured), a versatile left-sided player, provides added cover.
Manager Lee Johnson has been impressed by the former Manchester United Academy player who signed for Latics aged 16.
He said: "John has played in a number of reserve-team matches and has done very well.
"He can play in a number of positions and he deserves to be called into the squad."
Pritchard has been given the squad number 36.
Tomos Clarke, another second-year scholar, gets another call up as Latics are without suspended central defender Jonathan Grounds.
Matteo Lanzoni and Charlie MacDonald, who both returned to full training today after recovering from injury, are added to the squad.
