Latics play Bantams

Latics under-10's enjoyed a thrilling 8-6 victory against Bradford City.

Jacob Rimmer scored a hat trick for Latics whose other goals came from Kane Badby, Ben Brierley, Billy Allsey, Kian Broadbent and Patrick Taylor.

THE under-11's battled back from a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 against Bradford City through goals from Niall Dolan and Lewis Walsh.

Latics started poorly, but produced a great comeback in the second period.

TWO goals from Lee Knight and a strike from Dominik Williams could not stave off defeat for the under-16's who were beaten 4-3 by the Bantams.

Latics were 3-0 down after 25 minutes, but recovered well.

THE under-14's conceded all their goals in a "mad" opening 25 minutes according to manager Pete Wild as they lost 3-0 to Bradford.

Latics dominated the second and third periods, but could not find the net. Jack Meylan and Joe Nuttall were Latics' stand out performers.

MATTHEW Knott, Alex Panter and James Fletcher scored for the under-12's who lost 6-3 to Bradford.

The deficit was 3-2 until they tired in the last period when they conceded three goals.
