Blind team in bid for £3,000 grant

Latics' fan David Wilkins is appealing for help from supporters.

Wilkins, coach of the Manchester Blind & Visually Impaired Football Club, wants help to win a £3,000 grant from Lloyds Bank Community Fund to develop and extend their activities.

The newly-formed club is hoping to enter teams in the National League as the only team in the North West is based in Liverpool.

Voting, which closes on November 1st, can be done by one of the following means.

* In person at Lloyds Oldham or Royton branches.
