Derby date for under-18's
Latics under-18's are in derby action tomorrow when they play Rochdale in the Football League Youth Alliance's North West Conference.It will be a big test for Latics at Chapel Road, kick off 11am, as Dale are second in the table with seven wins from their nine league games.
Latics, however, have made a good start to the season and find themselves in fifth place having recorded six wins and three losses.
Academy Manager Tony Philliskirk has selection worries are Callum Etches has joined Jack Truelove and Haydn Foulds on the sidelines.
John Pritchard and Will Kinder are also doubts, but there is some injury cheer with Ryan Ellison returning after a lengthy lay off with a thigh-muscle injury.
Latics under-18's then play Sheffield United at Boundary Park on Wednesday in the first round of the FA Youth Cup.
