Glossop North End under-sevens today's visitors
Glossop North End under-sevens are today's JD Williams Team of the Week.The Oldham Athletic Community Trust initiative sees a local junior team invited to Boundary Park for each Saturday home match.
They get the chance to play on the pitch at half time as well as forming a guard of honour for the teams before kick off.
Glossop North End Juniors were formed in 1989 and achieved the FA Charter Standard in 2004.
The club currently has teams from under-six to under-18's with over 260 boys and girls registered with the club.
The under-sevens, this week's Team of the Week, play in the East Manchester Junior Football League and have enjoyed an unbeaten start to the season in both league and cup.
Managed by Jason Cooper, and assisted by Geoff Sharpe, Shaun De Vega and Neil Joy, the team is encouraged to play an open passing game to raise the standard of their technical and football skills whilst developing players' motivation, self-discipline, social skills and self confidence.
