Under-18's bid to maintain fine start

Latics under-18's will be bidding to maintain their fine start to the season tomorrow at Tranmere Rovers in the Football League Youth Alliance's North West Conference.

They have won six of their first eight league matches to lie third in the table as well as recording a victory in the Football League Youth Alliance Cup.

Striker Jordan Bove is Latics' hotshot as he has scored 10 goals in nine games for the under-18's.

Will Kinder could be involved tomorrow as the midfielder has been given the all clear to resume training following a lengthy lay off through illness.

Jack Truelove, Haydn Foulds and Ryan Ellison remain on the sidelines through injury.

Tomorrow's match is at Tranmere's Raby Vale training ground (CH63 4JE), kick off 11am.
