Murray praise for players
It was not just the victory but the manner of Latics reserves' 3-0 win at Fleetwood Town in the Lancashire Senior Cup which delighted Paul Murray.Reserve-team manager Murray explained: "It was an excellent performance to score three goals away from home and also keep a clean sheet.
"We had a lot of possession and moved the ball very well."
Murray added there were some good individual performances, both from the senior players and youngsters.
"They all did well and some have given the manager something to think about," he continued.
Latics won with goals from Kirk Millar and Chris Sutherland while Dominic Barrett found his own net.
