School visits by community team

Oldham Athletic Community Trust's schools' programme reaches out to over 1,000 primary school children each week.

The community team delivers football, handball, Futsal and Street Cheer sessions throughout the borough.

Rabia Lees, from Delph Primary School, said: "We have worked with Oldham Athletic Community Trust for a number of years and have always been pleased with the quality and professionalism of the coaches.

"They have managed to provide provision for all the children across the school and the staff have noted how the children have interacted well with the coaches.”

Martin Vose, Community Trust Participation Manager, added: "It's fantastic to work with so many local primary schools and their pupils. Each session is unique and the coaching staff genuinely look forward to every session we deliver.

"We'd like thank our current school partners for allowing us to work with themselves and their pupils over the forthcoming year.”

As well as the schools' programme, Oldham Athletic Community Trust currently has a wide range of projects and sessions currently running across Oldham. These include development centres, youth inclusion sessions, match day clubs and over 50's football.
