Latics have four players under treatment for Saturday's SkyBet League 1 match at Crawley Town.And the fact Latics have no midweek match at first-team level will give Jonathan Grounds, Genseric Kusunga, Cristian Montano and Adam Rooney extra time to recover.
Montano and Kusunga (pictured) were absentees on Saturday when Latics drew 1-1 at home to Crewe Alexandra.
Winger Montano has had surgery to drain a cyst while defender Kusunga has a tight hamstring.
Defender Grounds sustained a dead leg against Crewe while Rooney is suffering from soreness to the sole of his foot.
