Youth team at Walsall
High-flying Latics under-18's face one of their toughest games of the season in the Football League Youth Alliance's North West Conference tomorrow when they visit Walsall.Latics will be heading to the Midlands in fine spirits, though, having won four of their first five league matches.
Academy Manager Tony Philliskirk again has a depleted side as Michael Brewster has broken down again in training while Haydn Foulds, Jack Truelove, Will Kinder and Ryan Ellison are all out.
Kyle Hardman, who has been out with a knee injury, has resumed training and is likely to be on the bench as he is eased back into action.
Due to depleted numbers, Philliskirk will again be forced to call on the services of a number of schoolboys.
