Latics on their travels

Latics will be seeking a second away victory of the season in Sky Bet League 1 today at Crawley Town.

After winning at Stevenage on the opening day, Latics have had the misfortune of losing each of their subsequent three league games by a single goal at Peterborough, Preston and Rotherham.

It will be only the third ever meeting between the two teams as Crawley only gained Football League status in 2010.

And Latics are unbeaten having collected four points from a possible six from their two matches last season.

Charlie MacDonald will be returning to the club for whom he played between 2003/05 when they were in non league's Dr Martens League, the sixth tier of English football.

Three promotions later and Crawley find themselves alongside Latics in League 1.

Fans who bought tickets in advance received a £3 discount.
