Kusunga also injured
Cristian Montano has undergone surgery, Latics' manager Lee Johnson has revealed.The winger (pictured) has had an operation to have a cyst drained.
Johnson added that Montano has an open wound which makes him doubtful for next Saturday's SkyBet League 1 match at Crawley Town.
"We have yet to speak to the surgeon to see when he will be available," explained Johnson.
Latics' manager added that central-defender Kusunga was pulled out of the squad as a precaution because of a tight hamstring, an injury picked up in training on Friday.
