Defender to have x-ray
James Tarkowski is to have an x-ray on the injured ankle which ruled him out of Latics' Sky Bet League 1 match yesterday at Rotherham United.Manager Lee Johnson made the disclosure after revealing the central defender (pictured) had received two separate whacks to the same ankle in the space of five days.
Tarkowski picked up his first blow during Monday's live televised match at Preston North End.
He quickly recovered, but in training on Friday was caught again on the same spot by team-mate Jonson Clarke-Harris.
