Defender doubt for Rotherham
James Tarkowski is an injury doubt for Latics' Sky Bet League 1 match at Rotherham United on Saturday.The defender (pictured) received a painful kick to his leg in Monday's 2-1 defeat at Preston North End.
Tarkowski will continue to receive treatment in the hope he is passed fit for the visit to the New York Stadium.
Latics picked up a further injury in Tuesday's reserve-team match at Shrewsbury Town where Latvian Edijs Joksts hurt his knee.
