New Role For Broadbent

16 April 2014

Latics are delighted to announce a promotion for Sales & Marketing Executive, David Broadbent. As of today, David will be the new Head Of Partnerships.

This new role will task David with strengthening relationships with the clubs current commercial partners, whilst also sourcing new partners for the club on a local and national level.

The role is about helping to maximise commercial revenue for the club over what promises to be an exciting time off the pitch over the coming months and years.

David will be working alongside commercial manager Jenny Warburton to seek out new opportunities for the club and attracting businesses to Boundary Park.

Speaking about the new role, chief executive Neil Joy commented: "This promotion further strengthens our commercial team as we move into the next phase of the clubs development off the field.

"It is due reward for all the hard work David has put in over the last two years in re-establishing the club's relationships with the local business community and beyond.

"His enthusiasm for job, allied to a strong work ethic, has laid the foundations for the club to build further on those partnerships and to take advantage of the exciting commercial opportunities afforded by the development of the new North Stand.

"In Jenny and David we have a commercial leadership team designed and able to maximise revenue from the clubs off-field activities."
