Chadderton Park Cobras Under 9’s

Chadderton Park Cobras are a local team who play in the East Manchester League on a Saturday morning. They had an unbelievable season last year going on a 21 match unbeaten run and winning the Divisional Cup final. The team is made up of 10 young footballers:

Kye Marsh – The Gentle Giant. Kyle is an imposing presence in goals with superfast reactions and good distribution. Equally at home outfield, picking passes and scoring goals.

Josh Watson – The Rock and the Cobras key defensive player. Josh reads the game well and has bucket loads of pace.

Seb Martin – The Tank, Seb has come on massively since last year adding vision and awareness to his natural physical style. Seb has mastered the art of arriving late into the box scoring a couple of goals this season.

Rayaan Bhatti – The conductor. Rayaan possesses a wand-like left foot, a great first touch and an eye for a killer pass. Rayaan helps to starts many of the Cobras attacking moves.

Jac Smith – Top Gun. Our set piece maestro. Jac strikes a fantastic dead ball assisting lots of goals from his pinpoint corners and scoring some thunderbolts strikes from free kicks.

Oliver Hoskins – Lionheart. Tenacious in the tackle two good feet and an eye for the goal resulting in Olly finishing the season as Cobras top goal scorer.

George Albert – The Wing Wizard. George has made the right wing position his own this season. Great stamina and mixed pace with some mesmerising skills.

Aiden Broadhurst – The Smiling Assassin. Aiden may look nice and sweet but in front of the goal he turns into a ruthless predator.

Jay Miller – The Target Man. Jay has performed well up front this season scoring some great goals whilst also helping linking play for the Cobras.

Alfie Taylor- The new starter. He has just started to train with us and looks like he will fast become a fantastic goal keeper for the team this season with some nice saves produced in training so far, he has a great attitude and we look forward to working with him this season.
