Oldham Athletic Community Trust Holiday Activities

1 August 2014

It was presentation day today at the SportsDirect.com Park as the children from the Community Trust's summer holiday activity, sponsored by the Safeguard Group, today received their certificates.

Every child who has attended the holiday activity this week has received a certificate, with those who have attended the full week getting an Oldham Athletic water bottle. It's been an action packed first two weeks, with an estimated 184 children attending the holiday club.

The main presentation saw the first of the free junior Oldham Athletic season tickets given out to those children who have attended a full two weeks so far. Seven children this afternoon received their season ticket, with a whole host of other children receiving theres at next Friday's presentation.

The season ticket giveaway is a brand new addition to the holiday activity, which sees the children receive a free child season ticket if they attend 10 or more days.

Wendy Noble, OACT administrator added: "It's been a fantastic first two weeks at the holiday club and we're delighted to be able to present the children with free season tickets. Over the weeks the children have got to learn a lot about Oldham Athletic. They've had ground tours, played on the training pitch and even met some of the first team players. We hope that the season tickets on top of all this will entice the children to visit the SportsDirect.com Park on a match day."
