On-loan striker Jabo Ibehre admitted he would like to extend his stay with the club beyond his initial loan period which is set to expire in January.
The striker, who has netted one goal since signing for the club on loan from Colchester in October, believes the club are going in the right direction and wants to be apart of that.
Speaking to Latics Player, Ibehre said: "I'm taking each games as it comes. I have really enjoyed my time here and everyone has been fantastic to me so we will have to see what happens in the closing games.
"I would love to stay because I've really enjoyed it here. We'll have to see what happens over the festive period and take it from there.
"We will definitely push on after Christmas and in the New Year I'm hoping that we will be in the play-offs."
Ibehre is no stranger to Stadium:MK after enjoying a successful spell with the club between 2009-13.
"Every game is important whether it be against MK Dons who are flying and are a very good side but you have to have that attitude in every single game if you want to push on."
