Youth team boss Tony Philliskirk narrowly missed out on picking up the Professional Phase Coach of the Year award at the FA Licensed Coaches Club at St.George's Park last night.
The 49-year-old was named in the final three shortlist but Manchester United Under 18 coach Paul McGuiness won the award ahead of Philliskirk.Philliskirk said: "I'm delighted to get down to the final three shortlist. Congratulations to Paul for winning the award. I was surprised to get to the final three as I didn't expect to and don't work in the Premier League."
