Former Latics to turn out in 'benefit' game for Paul

This Sunday, 9th February, Avro FC are holding a benefit day for New Mills player assistant manager Paul Armstrong.
 
Paul used to play at Avro’s and unfortunately broke his leg in two places during a Robinsons Brewery Manchester FA Premier Cup Quarter Final playing for New Mills against Irlam FC on 2nd December.

Paul, a former Latics apprentice, is a self employed worker and is going be out of action for 8-12 months with no wage, Avro’s have set up this day to raise some much needed funds for him.
 
The admission is free however contributions will be gratefully received, there will be two fixtures kicking off at 13:30 between New Mills XI v Avro Legends and then Avro 1st v New Mills. Players already agreed to play include the likes of Neil Tolson, Micky Flynn, Kieran Trippier, Darren Sheridan and several players from FC United, Hyde FC, Oldham Athletic, Ashton Utd and New Mills.
 
There will be a raffle, auction,  karaoke and disco in the Lancaster Club after the games.
