Centre-half in Boundary Park exit
Defender Edijs Joksts, who has failed to make a competitive first team appearance since joining the club in the summer, has left Latics after the player and the club came to a mutual agreement to end his contract early.
Centre-back Joksts, a Latvia Under-21 international, joined Latics on a free transfer after impressing during a trial at Boundary Park. Unfortunately he suffered a back injury early in the season and has been unable to earn a place in Lee Johnson's first team.
All at Boundary Park wish Edijs good luck in his future career.
