Tarkowski offered new deal by Latics

Oldham Athletic can today confirm that defender James Tarkowski has been offered an extension to his current contract which would see him signed up to Latics until the end of season 2015/16.

Tarkowski joined Latics on a two-year scholarship in May 2009. His first appearance in a matchday squad coming on 15th January 2011.

'Tarky' made his club debut a week later as an 80th minute substitute against Brentford, making his full debut for Latics on 12th March 2011 in a League One match against Leyton Orient.
