Manager Lee Johnson has chosen Adam Lockwood as his new club captain for next season.
Lockwood will take care of all off-field problems and be a strong voice in the dressing room.
Johnson said: "Locky is the daddy and the grandad of the group so with his experience, players can go to him.
"I'm going for a team captain and a club captain. I like to have that structure where he is my voice into the dressing room and the dressing room can go to him and he will report back to me."
With the departure of Korey Smith, the manager is now searching for a new captain.
"On the pitch we're looking for a captain but I've certainly got something in my mind who I want," admitted the gaffer.
